Chocolate Hazelnut Praline

Since my mother brought back some Chocolate Hazelnut Praline from Paris, France in 1981, we've searched for a suitable comparison in the US.

Brands came and went, but until last week, the Ritter Sport Hazelnut Praline or Nutella Hazelnut Spread seemed to be the best choices. While these are pretty good, they just aren't quite the flavor I am looking for.

A few days ago I was at Big Lots, and once again came across some Cémoi chocolate. This time it was their Dark Chocolate Hazelnut Praline.

Let's just say I bought them all. And yes, I want more! I hope they aren't being discontinued. Finding stuff at Big Lots is not a good sign.

If you know where to buy these, please share! I've e-mailed Cémoi, and wait feverishly for a response. :)

Enter a fun, tongue-in-cheek “what if” scenario where

Star Trek: Voyager's memorable, omnipotent antagonists visit
21st century Earth to investigate a human with Q-like abilities!

Michael, a young, single, 21st century gay man suddenly
develops amazing powers, and with them a sense of duty to
use them for good. While vacationing at Disneyland during its
Gay Days celebration, he finds himself seeking the source of
what he rationalizes as “magical” powers. Unbeknownst to him,
he is being evaluated by super beings who are skeptical of his
ability to control these newly found powers. Building up within
Michael has been an internal conflict on how to "do good" with
them, which reaches a flash point, propelling him through time
to the 24th century. There he clings to his humanity and settles
into a new life of space trading, while keeping his abilities
hidden and under control as best he can. After having what he
hoped would be just another harmless, romantic fling with a
handsome dancer on a distant world, he ends up getting his
long awaited answers whether he’s ready for them or not.
